Estou reproduzindo notícia/nota avaliativa divulgada no site da Jancis Robinson. Entre micos e micadas minhas para "compreender" textos e avaliações - rs.... de uma forma geral a avaliação foi boa, óbvio que não concordo com notas e textos descritivos de muitos produtos ....
Recado aos amigos do vinho que degustarem estes ----> terão a deliciosa surpresa de descobrirem que são mais do que o que foi "avaliado".

The tasting notes below are a brief representative sample of the wide range of producers, varieties and styles that I tried on my recent trip (see Brazil - world player in wine?), listed in descending order of score.
Cave Geisse, Brut 1998 Brazil 17.5 Drink 2009-12
70% Chardonnay and 30% Pinot Noir. 10 years of lees ageing. Strong yeast, apple on the nose - but actually quite closed. On the palate, much more developed with a very broad length and just-popped toast on the finish. The subtle and fresh autolytic character is a real hallmark of quality, and the layers peel back in the mouth with wonderful gradualness.
Comments: este espumante é reliquia, cultivada - cuidado com muito amor e carinho - normalmente o que se encontra no mercado é o 2005 (que é muito bom).
Lidio Carraro, Singular Nebbiolo 2006 Brazil 17+ Drink 2009-19
Very pale and brick-hued. Cherry, tobacco, floral, violets. The tannin is high and proud, the fruit sophisticated and there is a perfume that persists across the whole palate. 14% (RH)
Comments: é o nebbiolo mais caro do planeta - vale o que custa - mas agradeceríamos se pudesse ser mais acessível - assim divulgaria com mais intensidade as coisas boas do BRASIL.
Dal Pizzol Merlot 1991 Brazil 17 Drink 2009
Broad nose: spices, cinnamon stick, farmyard, liquorice, blackcurrant. Lengthy and complex, high acidity with very dry fruit. Leather, hung meat, spice and cedarwood. Unknown alcohol but tastes about 12%. (RH)
Comments: Já degustei 1991 - 1995 - 1997 - 2000 e apóses..... todos sempre muito bons.
Casa Valduga, Gran Reserva Chardonnay 2008 Brazil 17 Drink 2009
Butter, tropical, pineapple, caramel. Dairy creaminess on the palate - lengthy finish. It's like tinned pears served with custard, nutmeg and toffee sauce. Totally tropical taste, then, but very good. Not shy but convincingly done and well balanced. 14% (RH)
Comments: meus amigos do mundo do vinho riram de mim quando eu falei das barricas de carvalho romeno pela qual parte do lote passou por do envelhecimento (pois é tido como um cavalho mais barato) - que feio fazer pré julgamento de um vinho pelo $$$ do carvalho.... Como branco de chardonnay do ano passado foi sem sombra de dúvidas o melhor do Brasil no estilo.
Miolo, Lote 43 2005 Brazil 16.5+ Drink 2009-14
Closed, medicine, eucalypt, dark fruit. Dry, moderate tannin, high acid, very strong blackcurrant. It is every bit an icon wine in the Parker mould of more is better: blockbusting and monstrous. Not sure it has the structure that supports ageing. 14% (RH)
Comments: o Lote 43 é o best buy de todas as gotas desde 1999 - 2002 - 2004 e o 2005 que vai sair dentro em breve tá fazendo minha saliva antenada...
Pizzato Egiodola 2005 Brazil 16.5+ Drink 2012-17
Meat, black plum and high tannins - very grippy and tough. The depth of focus of the rest of the wine matches it pound for pound, so it will be fascinating to see it evolve in the future. (Egiodola is a crossing of Fer Servadou with Abouriou.) 13% (RH)

Dom Candido Tannat 2005 Brazil 16.5 Drink 2009-13
Dark cake mix, spice, blackcurrant, leaf. Very fresh and ripe, but without artifice - furthermore it is unoaked and shows fine fruit complexity; tobacco and leather. Very balanced and integrated. 13% (RH)
Comments: pra quem não gosta de tannat e está a fim de mudar de opinião que tal tentar um ótimo tannat?? é esse!
Lidio Carraro Cabernet Sauvignon 2005 Brazil 16.5 Drink 2009-12
Blackcurrant, tobacco, anise. Good balance of ripe fruit and savoury length as well as expressive floral notes. 14.7% (RH)
Comments: é o que se espera de um CS especiarias totais expressadas neste....
Miolo, Merlot Terroir 2005 Brazil 16.5 Drink 2009
Very deep colour. Blackcurrant, mint leaf, chocolate. The tannin is light but with some texture, black fruit, leather and a very pleasant choc-mint finish. (RH)

Pizzato, Concentus 2005 Brazil 16.5 Drink 2009
Tannat, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon blend. Vanilla, cream, cocoa, leather and with lengthy sawdust oak finish. Impressive, full bodied but also with a degree of elegance. 13% (RH)
Comments: é outro faz-me rir... (AmNa avalia mas não avacalha) é tudo de bom tem muita qualidade muito complexo e maduro.... degustei essa preciosidade por duas vezes... uma ainda quando era filhotinho e apresentado pelo falecido Ivo Pizzato e após lançamento comercial... evoluidíiiiiiiiiiiiiissimo.
Dal Pizzol Ancellotta 2004 Brazil 16 Drink 2009-11
Ancellotta is a variety from Emilia-Romagna, used for Lambrusco Rosso. Deep cassis, black cherry and aniseed. Quite heady and medicinal. Ripe and sweet-fruited with strong aromatic iodine finish. 12.5% (RH)
Comments: GASTRONOMICO e tudo mais... humpft! (AmNa)
Salton, Series Pinot Noir 2007 Brazil 15 Drink 2009
Sweet vanilla cream, like cheap perfume; sawdust oak. On the palate, the fruit is sweet and juicy like a raspberry coulis and the oak is totally un-integrated. 13% (RH)
Comments: avalia mas não avacalha! - Conheço o 2006 este 2007 ainda não degustei... se este 2007 mantiver o padrão do 2006 é tudo de bom..... dentro de alguns dias tirarei a prova!
Aurora, Brut White NV Brazil 14.5 Drink 2009
Riesling/Semillon blend, 10g/l residual sugar. Soapy, neutral, light. Soft fizz, tight apple, very simple. 11% (RH)
Comments: é o conde de foucauld que o avaliador teve vergonha de dizer... faz-me rir se o cidadão soubesse que o CONDE é o espumante com mais aceitação custoxbenefício do país.... a se soubesse olharia com outros olhos... mas deve ter olhado para a marca alguém deve ter dito que é baratinho.... dã raios...
Salton, Talento 2005 Brazil 15 Drink 2009
Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Tannat blend with one year in French barriques. Sweet, pushy oak with sappy vanillin and workshop sawdust and black fruit. It's a highly processed style, flashy and swish like a sports car but not very soulful. 13% (RH)
Comments: avalia mas não avacalha! - esqueci de comentar que adoro esse vinho e todo o TALENTO contido nele - nota completamente injusta e inexplicavel... Dos assemblages do Genêro está no TOP e com louvor merecidissimo.
ViniBrasil, Rio Sul Espumante Rosé 2007 Brazil 14.5 Drink 2009
100% Syrah, Charmat method. Fresh, strawberry, floral. Very high acidity, and fruit character that cannot match it. Light and mundane. 12% (RH)
Comments: esse é o único que não degustei .... AINDA! Tinha me confundido... achando que tinha degustado todos.... na na na faltou esse! SUA SIMPLES MORTAL! hauhauhauah

Discordo da maioria das notas colocadas pelo grupo Jancis, pois sei que cada garrafa é uma sentença e pode ser que o que tenha sido avaliado não tenha sido o THE BEST CHEGADO LÁ, mas no meu humilde entendimento e conhecimento de causa (ou produtos no caso) o Brasil não é só um questionamento Brazil - world player in wine? - o Brasil tá evoluíndo e merece ser olhado com mais carinho e não só como 'noooossa os caras não plantam só babanas eles se arriscam a fazer vinho?!'...

NUMA EXPRESSÃO BEM GAUCHESCA BAH QUE TAL ESSE GRUPO VIR AO BRASIL E FAZER A AVALIAÇÃO "IN LOCO".... Tenho convicção de que as notas seriam BEEEEEEEEEM diferentes!
